The Board of Directors retained S. Kanetsky Engineering to evaluate the potential installation of emergency standby generators at six water supply facility sites for the purpose of maintaining electrical services for the production of water during loss of power events. The Board of Directors of the District desires to approve the Engineering Study and make certain findings in connection therewith.
Irrigation of landscaped areas with hose-end sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems shall be limited to Sundays and Thursdays for customers with a streets address ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8), and Saturdays or Wednesdays for water customers with a street address ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9), and irrigation of landscaped areas is further limited to the hours of 12:00 midnight until 10:00 a.m. and between 8:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight on designated watering days. However, irrigation of landscaped areas is permitted at anytime if it is by means of a hand-held hose, a faucet filled bucket or watering can of five (5) gallons or less, or drip irrigation system.
The Boil Water Notice is CANCELLED for homes on Aqua Azul Court. The Notice was put in placed on March 12th after an emergency water line repair. Water samples were taken and have all come back as safe so the Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that changes made by the District’s new operations company, Crossroads Utility Services, have resulted in significantly lower levels of Trihalomethanes in the District’s drinking water supply.

The Board of Directors has called for an election for two places on the Board. The election will be held on Saturday May 7, 2016. Any eligible voter and resident of the District may apply for a Place on the Ballot. The Deadline to submit the Application is Friday February 19, 2016 at 5:00 PM. The forms are available at the District office, and the completed paperwork must be submitted at the office by the deadline.
Water Outages may occur in the Lipan Trail and Castile Road area on Wednesday 1/27/2016. Due to a water line repair to fix water leaks in this area, temporary water outages may occur. If you have any questions, please call the office at 512-263-2707.
On Friday, January 15, 2015 and continuing through Monday, February 15, 2015, the water treatment plant will undergo a temporary system disinfection change. In order to maintain good water quality, the Water Department will be performing a process called de-nitrification, commonly known as a free chlorine burn that will increase the free chlorine residual throughout the water distribution system.
The website for online water bill payments is changing on June 1, 2015. Currently, the online payment service is at https://www.eonlinebill.com/bapp/uswgu/wp01 . Starting on June 1, 2015, the new service will be at the following website: www.utilitypaymentonline.com . Other than the website address, the system will work pretty much the same. Monday February 23, 2015 - The Water District office will be closing early today due to inclement weather. If the roads conditions continue to be a hazard in the morning the office will open late.
